Facebook As Source of New Readers and Subscribers

I am now testing on How Facebook could increase my readers and viewers.

And here is my Observation and Thoughts

After 3 days of doing additional friends in my profile, I have seen additional RSS Subscribers at my Main Tech Blog. Tech At Hand Dot Net is the blog that I have included in my Profile and therefore new friends will be redirected to Tech At Hand Dot Net whenever they look for my blog.

Here is what I did,

Since I was looking for Filipino Bloggers to take notice of my blog, I look for a group of Bloggers in Facebook that falls in a category of Blogger in Philippines and good that I found Filipino Bloggers Group which have about 386 members at the moment, I slowly added the members as my friends and since they are All Filipino like me, they immediately approved my request. I just stopped when I saw the warning from Facebook that I nearly used up the allowed number of Friends addition.

Next thing to do is comment on their blog for them to know that you exist, Commenting is still the best way on pinging other Bloggers and telling them that you have a blog. But Please don’t spam. Better put your name in the comment’s name and not the keywords which you want to optimized.

I have initially received a positive outcome of this experiment.

This is only a small experiment using Social Media but this might also work for your blog. Just a tip, Blogs is usually included in the information part of the Facebook page.
